Cold Andrew VS BZA [FLTH-007]

For this edition, we've paired up two of Portland, Maine's coldest MPC wizards, head-to-head and side-for-side.

Cold Andrew is owner of renowned Portland record store, Moody Lords, and has deep roots in Portland, Maine's hip-hop community. He brings a nostalgic boom-bap sound to his side of the 45 that still manages to feel fresh. Great drums and thoughtful chops give way to two great, funky, soulful beats on side A.

BZA is a founding member of infamous Portland producer night, "re;sample", where they've hosted folks like Tuamie, Daedelus & Al.Divino to name a few. That classic gritty, grimy style that he's become known for is on full display on side B. BZA's side has a sort of haunting, ominous feel to it that contrasts side A in a really cold way.

Limited to 250 copies on 7" black vinyl in a Filthy gradient label sleeve. Comes with poly bag.
